Softease sponsors ICT showcase event

Softease is sponsoring the ICT Register Showcase conference - Making Connections, for the second year running. The event is to take place on the 29th January 2008 in Loughborough and is open to all schools and City Learning Centres, not just those on the ICT Register. The conference unites practitioners from across the world, sharing innovative and practical ideas to demonstrate how ICT helps to enrich and personalise learning. The event also includes innovative showcases and workshops led by schools and City Learing Centres selected from the ICT register,  including a showcase on Web 2.0 collaborative online tools and a workshop on podcasting both supported by Softease. Keynote sessions and other showcases will focus on:

- Creative use of new technologies and software tools
- Creating new virtual and physical learning environments
- National and international partnerships
- Strengthening pedogogy through ICT
